Family Dynamics

Welcome to a warm and inviting family residing in the vibrant neighborhood of Kaka’ako. This loving family is seeking a dedicated and reliable nanny to care for their delightful 6-year-old twins, a boy and a girl, who bring joy and energy into their cozy condo home.

Their son, a curious and affectionate child, is preparing for an exciting year ahead as he starts school for the first time. He continues his Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy in the afternoons, requiring a nurturing and understanding caregiver who can support his growth and development. His twin sister, equally delightful and full of personality, shares a close bond with her brother, making their dynamic truly special.

This family values inclusivity, open-mindedness, and collaboration. They are looking for a nanny who embodies these qualities and can become an integral part of their lives. As the nanny becomes more familiar with their son’s needs, the family appreciates a balance of guidance and autonomy, fostering a harmonious relationship built on trust and mutual respect. They enjoy spending quality time together in their vibrant neighborhood, engaging in creative activities, exploring local parks, and sharing family meals.

Ideal Nanny

The ideal candidate for this role is a compassionate and experienced caregiver with a profound understanding of working with children on the autism spectrum. You are someone who can seamlessly integrate into the family’s daily life, offering both structure and flexibility to accommodate the unique needs of the twins. Your nurturing nature and patient demeanor will provide a supportive and loving environment for their son’s continued ABA therapy and their daughter’s active and engaging personality. Comfortable with navigating downtown Honolulu, you will ensure safe and enjoyable transportation for the children to various activities and appointments.

Your ability to adapt, coupled with a creative and enthusiastic approach to childcare, will make you a cherished addition to this wonderful family. If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference and becoming a trusted companion for these delightful twins, we would love to hear from you.

Experience with autism is preferred. You should be reliable and punctual with your own transportation. The ability to adapt to a flexible schedule is essential. We value an open-minded and inclusive approach, and while we encourage collaboration, you should also be able to work autonomously.
